Who am I?

Hi, I am Chloe and I a mum of 1 with a second baby on the way, due to arrive in July. I wanted to share a little bit about me and how my journey started.

My journey to becoming a baby led sleep and well-being specialist all began after I gave birth to my son in 2023.

I won’t lie to you, i was clueless about baby sleep; even from my time working in a nursery I still had this idea you put a baby down and they slept with no problems at all, well I was wrong.

The first day we came home my son would not sleep unless he was on mine or my partners chest and all we’d hear is how dangerous this was and how we’d be creating a bad habit. It got to the point we would take it in turns to do a 3-4 hour stretch on the sofa watching TV while contact napping so the other could sleep, this went on for 4 weeks,

Life drastically changed once we learnt about developmentally appropriate sleep behaviours, safe bedsharing and attachment. Since then, it’s been a passion of mine to support families with sleep and attachment as I had none myself.

You’ll never be asked to leave them to cry or abandon them.

The sleep industry is not regulated, so anyone can join and claim to be a holistic sleep coach, sleep and well-being specialist, gentle sleep coach etc. You may find a lot of accounts may advertise as gentle but still include some form of sleep training methods or abandonment.

Breastfeeding Network

Breastfeeding plays a huge part in sleep, especially with things like positioning and attachment, allergies, oral ties etc. Due to having difficulties myself with breastfeeding at the start of my journey, I felt it was important to get a qualification in breastfeeding, even if it’s only a supporter role.

Fox and The Moon

The creators of Fox and the Moon, Emily and Molly, have used their knowledge of supporting families and turned this into a course. There course purely focuses on finding the root cause of the challenges, how to support families.

Isla Grace

Lauren, the creator of the baby-led certification created the programme after having difficulties with her first and then became knowledgable about sleep behaviours, what can disrupt them and even how the ongoings in the parents life can have an impact..
